Regional Sales Associate: Analyze information on trends and customer preferences in the fashion industry provided by the market research analyst on an ongoing basis. Leverage said information in order to determine the focus of sales efforts, establish sales quotas, and set incentives that will expand increase sales. Analyze market research reports regarding the most recent trends in colors, fabrics, and styles in order to determine the sales potential of each apparel line. Utilize Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint to create price schedules that take into account the sales potential of each item versus their sourcing, manufacturing, and transportation costs. Utilize information from past sales and market research reports to conduct feasibility studies and generate sales forecasts. Create press releases and other promotional material using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign, and utilize social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook in order to monitor consumer interests and conduct sales campaigns. Attend clothing trade shows to meet with prospective customers. Ascertain customers’ needs and preferences, make product recommendations accordingly, and brief them on sales quotes, estimated delivery dates, and any tariffs, licenses, or restrictions on the shipment of items. Meet regularly with potential distributors in the U.S., Latin America, and the Caribbean in order to establish business relationships and expand the company’s sales market. Communicate regularly with buyers and the consumer base to resolve customer complaints regarding product deficiencies and desired improvements. Create and maintain records of all bid requests, sales, and credit collections

Requirements: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration with coursework in marketing, plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related position in the apparel industry. Equivalent foreign degrees are acceptable. The position requires skills and knowledge in feasibility studies, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. The position requires incidental travel – 1% of time, not more than several days a few times a year.
